He previously worked for two leading media industry consultancies in London and Brussels and advised the European Parliament as well as the European Commission on their future strategies to promote the European film sector. Jan also gained experience as a researcher and EU development manager with a German innovation agency and with a large telecommunications operator. He represents UNIC on the advisory board of the European Audiovisual Observatory and sits on the board of the European Digital Cinema Forum. He is also actively involved in several European Commission expert groups. Jan holds a BA from Liverpool John Moores University and an MSc from the London School of Economics.

  Laura Houlgatte, European Affairs Executive

She then worked for the British Council and the Federation of European Publishers. Laura is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Guillaume Branders, Industry Relations and Research Manager

Guillaume joined UNIC in 2014, following an internship with the organisation. He graduated in Political Science from the Free University of Brussels, with a major in International Relations.
