Executive Team

In 2011 UNIC relocated from Paris to Brussels and appointed a new executive team.

Jan Runge, CEO

Jan is Chief Executive Officer of UNIC. He previously worked as an independent public policy consultant as well as for two leading media industry advisory firms in London and Brussels. He gained experience as a researcher and EU development manager with a German innovation agency as well with a large telecommunications company. Jan represents UNIC on the advisory board of the European Audiovisual Observatory and sits on the board of the European Digital Cinema Forum. He is also actively involved in several European Commission expert groups. Jan holds a BA from Liverpool John Moores University and an MSc from the London School of Economics.

 

Julia Galaski, EU Affairs Officer

Julia joined UNIC in 2012. Previously, she worked for political foundations in Berlin and Rabat and did internships at radio channel France-Culture and in the European Parliament. Julia is a French-German bi-national and graduated from Sciences-Po Paris with a focus on EU affairs.
