Partnerships

UNIC manages the exhibition sector’s relations with the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. It also represents cinemas’ interests when dealing with international bodies such as UNESCO, WTO or WIPO.

UNIC has a seat on the Media Salles’ Board of Directors and is represented in the Advisory Committee of the European Audiovisual Observatory. Together with other industry stakeholders we jointly represent the interests of the film industry in Europe:

Last but not least, UNIC works very closely with its sister-organisation in the US, the National Association of Theatre Owners, and with the Motion Picture Association of America.
