The conference is now in its 6th edition and UNIC CEO Laura Houlgatte was invited to deliver a presentation on "Tackling the exhibition challenges in the region ". The specific focus was on the role, benefit and gains from a trade association as well as the part it plays in curbing piracy.
The presentation therefore covered UNIC's diverse missions - advocacy, lobbying, events etc -, shed the spotlight on current issues and then delve into the fight against piracy.
This was followed by a Q&A session where audience initiative as well as film education (including on the dangers of piracy) for youngsters were discussed.
